Kinects and Silver Spring Networks
The Kinects Solution Inc. suite of products provides a cost effective communication layer for sending and receiving digital data over the existing grid infrastructure. Our smart grid technology will provide in depth data with regards to the health of the distribution system by deploying multiple metering points with the use of PLC (Powerline Communications). Our system would be complimentary to most advanced metering systems already deployed in the marketplace. Our technology could also accommodate the SSN wireless technology, we not committed to any single technology in our transformer and feeder meters. We also intend to collaborate with a number of residential meter manufacturers in the near future.
