Silver Spring’s standards-based IPv6 networking solution will be deployed across the entirety of Unison’s service territory (in Hawke’s Bay, Rotorua and Taupo). Unison’s smart grid roll out is expected to deliver improved reliability and service for consumers, provide enhanced management of power grid assets, and enable greater overall energy efficiency.
